African Women Trailblazers Book

Our founder, Natasha Agarwal, started researching education in Africa in 2023. She realized that the power to visualize a better future is transformative. Despite their talent, curiosity, and capability, many African girls are still limited by the opportunity gap. This inspired Natasha to start learning about successful women leaders in a variety of fields. This led to her writing Tales of African Women Trailblazers. This inspired Natasha to start learning about successful women leaders in a variety of fields and led to her writing Tales of African Women Trailblazers.

The book highlights African born women who have overcome different forms of adversity and stayed true to their goals to foster positive transformation across industries. All of the women have exemplified the qualities of bravery, courage, dedication and leadership, the essence of what it means to be a trailblazer.

We wish to show girls across the African continent the breadth of possibilities available to them. Our goal is to distribute the book to as many girls in Africa as possible.

We are working with climatologist Dr. Nana Ama Brown Kluste, one of our featured trailblazers, to bring thousands of copies of our book to Ghana! In addition, we are partnering with Books for Africa to be included in the Girls Empowerment Collection. Tales of African Women Trailblazers will be on Books For Africa shipping containers in the near future.
